On 24 March, the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan received the delegation of the European Investment Bank headed by the Vice President of the Bank Vazil Hudak. They discussed the possibilities of expanding the bank involvement in investment programs implementing in Armenia's energy sector.
Speaking about the perspectives of further cooperation, Vazil Hudak expressed the intentions of the European Investment Bank to make investments in Armenia's energy sector. The bank is interested in both energy savings and renewable energy and other planned projects in different fields. Vazil Hudak expressed willingness to cooperate on various levels, including public-private sector.
At the request of the guests Ashot Manukyan presented the specific projects within the implementation of which Armenia would like to cooperate with the bank. They were related to the creation of new generating capacities, as well as the modernization of the existing potential.
