A meeting of the project management implemented board in the energy sector took place

In the Ministry Energy infrastructures and Natural Resources, headed of the Minister Ashot Manukyan, held a meeting of the Board of Governors' program on management of credit and grant funds provided by foreign countries and international lending organizations, attended by heads of ministry and several number of companies.

Particularly, the issues related to the activities of the ANPP Second unit Term Expansion and Modernization Program and the Bidding Process were discussed. The works carried out in the first quarter of this year were presented and the future plans were touched upon. The necessity of fulfilling planned measures on schedule and high level was highlighted.

Following the results of the session, corresponding assignments were given. It should be noted that two thirds of the planned works on the program of extension and modernization of the second unit of the ANPP are coming to an end. 136 million dollars was spent instead of the planned 205 million dollars. The savings accounted for about 34 percent.
