A specific proposal will be submitted for each non-gasified community

 RA Ministry of Energy infrastructures and Natural Resources considered a number of alternative options, to ensure the non-gasified communities in Armenia with thermal energy.
The point is, in particular, the use of solar photovoltaic panels and water heaters, pallet boilers or furnaces.

  According to Hayk Badalyan, the Chief of Energy Department of the RA Ministry of Energy infrastructure and Natural Resources, in the framework of the Prime Minister's instruction, at present, each community has preliminary calculations related to both gasification and alternative options.

- Only after that calculations will be possible to evaluate the option of mutually beneficial solution.

It is envisaged to submit a specific proposal for each community before July 1 of the current year.

It will be remind 329 Armenian communities are not gasified. It's about 150,000 people or about 5 percent of the country's population.
