The Minister Hosted the Delegation of the Asian Development Bank

On October 6, the RA Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan hosted the delegation headed by the Director of the office of the Asian Development Bank in Armenia Shane Rosenthal. During the meeting the sides discussed issues related to cooperation in the energy system and referred to the future activities.

Welcoming the guests, Mr. A. Manukyan highlighted the role of ADB in terms of cooperation with the Armenia's energy system.
    - We consider the Asian Development bank not only as a donor but as a partner, to attract private investors. It is of exceptional importance for us.

  Highly appreciating the works carried out in Armenia’s High-voltage networks, the Minister highlighted ADB's participation in renewable energy, particularly in solar energy and small hydropower projects.

The Director of ADB's Office, expressing gratitude for the reception, referred to the cooperation in the areas that are expected in the near future.
These relate to the distribution and high voltage systems, as well as renewable energy.
During the meeting the sides also discussed issues related to cooperation in sphere of water supply.
