During the session held on May 31, the Public Services Regulatory Commission decided to reduce the natural gas prices for consumers.
Accordingly, it is established that for the subscribers with 10 thousand cubic meters of the monthly consumption the price will amount to 146.7 thousand drams per thousand cubic meters, instead of the previous 156 thousand drams.
For the subscribers with up to 10 thousand cubic meters of monthly consumption the price for each thousand cubic meters was set at 257.56 USD instead of the previous 276.98 USD.
The new tariffs will be applied from July 1.
It became possible to reduce the internal tariffs in the result of the reduction of the gas price at the border. As is known, within the framework the Russian Prime Minister’s visit to Armenia, a Protocol was signed on April 7, according to which the gas price for Armenia reduced from 165 USD to 150 USD per each 1000 cubic meters.
