The Construction Process of 400 kV Power Transmission Line was been Discussed

On October 28, the RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan has received the head of the EU Delegation, Ambassador to Armenia Piotr Switalski, the EU project manager Ludovic Chekhanovski and the KfW Bank’s delegation members, the project manager Sandra Lutz, coordinating director Enrico Shpiller and the other representatives of delegation.

Yervand Zakharyan has congratulated the newly appointed EU Ambassador on his appointment and wished him fruitful and productive work in the course of his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

During the meeting the Minister thanked the EU, as well as the German bank KfW, for their assistance in implementing programs in Armenia's energy sector.

 It was mentioned that the construction works of 400 kV power transmission line between Armenia and Georgia, financing by KfW bank are successfully continuing.

The Minister stressed the importance of the program in terms of regional integration of the energy systems.

During the meetings were discussed a number of issues related to the implementation of the program of which were been given the explanations.
