09.03.2015 Yervand Zakharyan has Hosted the US Ambassador Richard Mills

On March 9, the RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan has hosted the US newly appointed Ambassador in the RA Richard Mills.

The Minister congratulated the Ambassador Mills on his appointment and wished him fruitful and productive work.

Yervand Zakharyan thanked the US Government for the ongoing support to the Armenia's energy sector, in particular the programs aimed at the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant’s safety level increasing.

The participants have expressed satisfaction with the results and the process of the Armenian-American cooperation in the energy sector.

The Minister Yervand Zakharyan has introduced the current situation and development prospects of the energy sector by the request of the Ambassador Richard Mills.

Richard Mills has noted that Armenia's energy sector is the most important sector of the US government.

He has expressed hope that the Armenian-American cooperation in the energy sector will be continued as effectively, as it is.
