The Minister Congratulated the Power Engineering Specialists on the Occasion of Professional Holiday

On December 22, the shortest day of light, the power engineering specialists celebrate their professional holiday.

On this occasion the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources hosted the staff of the energy system.

Yervand Zakharyan encouraged the advisor of the "Energakap" branch of the "Energy System Operator" company Felix Hakobjanyan, the electric welder of the "ANPP" CJSC Eduard Tovmasyan, the Director of the "Zangezur" branch of the "High Voltage Electrical Networks" CJSC Grisha Hayrapetyan, the Deputy Director-General of the ‘’Vorotan  HPP Cascade’’ CJSC Melsik Barkhudarian, the deputy chief engineer of the "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC’s 35/110 kV network’s operation branch Hamazasp Chamyan for the long-term exemplary and impeccable work by the Medals of the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources "For a Significant Contribution to the Armenia's Energy Sector".

Аbout seventy workers of the system were been awarded by diplomas and gratitudes of the Minister for a diligent work.

On the occasion of Power Engineering Specialists Day the 25 Engineering Specialists of Armenia were been awarded by the title of “Honorary Power Energy Specialist’’ by the CIS Electrical Energy Council.

The Minister Yervand Zakharyan congratulated all of the power engineering specialists with their professional holiday and noted:

-The Energy workers celebrate today one more significant event also, the 111th anniversary of the energy system. The energy system, having 111-year-old history in our country's economy, has gone a great way.

The advanced, reliable and with high safety level energy system is the basic guarantee for sustainable development and economic progress of our country.

Behind of these achievements are devotees, who continue the work and traditions of their predecessors, said Yervand Zakharyan.

The Minister has summarized the achievements in the energy sector in 2014, also spoke about the issues and events. Yervand Zakharyan also referred to the challenges, that are actual for the energy system of Armenia.

"Dear energy specialists, I am confident, that due to professionalism and principles, accured experience and new approaches of work organizing, we will be able to solve the problems together" said Yervand Zakharyan.
