The 4th Session of the Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Committee on Economic Co-operation was Held in Warsaw

The Deputy Minister of the Energy and Natural Resources  Hayk Harutyunyan  from 2-4 of December, in Warsaw, capital of Poland, participated in the 4th session of the Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Committee of  the bilateral economic co-operation issues.

   During the session there have been discussed the issues of economic co-operation between Armenia and Poland, the co-operation development prospects and opportunities particularly in the sphere of trade and economic, financial, investment and customs, as well as in the energy and natural resources, agriculture, healthcare fields.

The Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Hayk Harutyunyan introduced the investment programs of Armenia's energy sector, particularly of renewable energy and energy saving sectors.

He has invited his Polish colleagues to participate in those programs. Note, that there is a great interest to the Armenia's renewable energy sector already.

By the end, the session protocol of the 4th session of intergovernmental committee of economic co-operation was signed.  During the visit, the RA delegation met with Polish Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Economy Janusz Pikhochinski, the Minister of Agriculture Marek Sawicki, and the Foreign Deputy Secretary of State Arthur Novak-Far.

   The RA delegation representatives met and have consulted with Polish businessmen, also.

The Armenian-Polish intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation was established according the agreement "Between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Poland on economic cooperation", signed on March 12, 2010.
The 1st session of the committee was held on July 13, 2010, in Yerevan, the 2nd one on July 7-8, 2011, in Warsaw and the 3rd one on April 21-22, 2013, in Yerevan.

The first Deputy Minister of Economy of RA Garegin Melkonyan is the co-chairman of the intergovernmental committee by Armenian side, and the Deputy Minister of Economy of Poland Tomas Tomchikevich by the Polish side.
