It is planned to develop a mining industry development strategy

On August 23, the Government approved a list of measures to ensure the implementation of the mining industry development concept. It is planned to cultivate a mining industry development strategy, for which it is necessary to carry out some diagnostic surveys.

The strategic paper to be developed as a result of the research will provide a financial assessment to address the identified issues and reform issues, which are an obstacle to the sustainable development of the sector. With the adoption of the draft decision, clear deadlines for the implementation of the diagnostic studies required for strategy development and the development of the mining industry strategy will be settled.

The planned activities will be implemented with grants available from the World Bank and donor organizations.
