Arthur Grigoryan and Lyla Bashan discussed the building process of a 400 kV substation with the power transmission line and fixed power tab substation implemented with Georgia

RA Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Arthur Grigoryan received Lyla Andrews Bashan, Acting Director of the US Agency for International Development, the Director of Sustainable Development Office.

Welcoming the guests, Minister Grigoryan thanked the US Agency for International Development for the continued support of the Armenian energy sector and expressed hope that also hereinafter the cooperation will continue successfully. Highly appreciating the role of the structure in the development of different sectors of the economy and regional integration, Arthur Grigoryan presented to the guests the building process of a 400 kV substation with the power transmission line and fixed power tab substation implemented by the US Agency for International Development.

The interlocutors exchanged views about the program of the energy sector reforms, as well as the issue of training of relevant specialists during the construction of a power transformer substation, which was considered a new technology in Armenia.

They also touched upon the liberalization of the electricity market and possible new models of market formation.

The sides expressed willingness to exert maximum efforts to implement the planned programs in a short period of time.
