"Electricity reliability" credit project implemented with the support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development is in process

With the support of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the "Electricity Supply Reliability" loan program is being reconstructed from "Hrazdan TPP" to "Shinuhayr" substation with a length of about 230 km "Noraduz" - "Litchq" - "Vardenis" - "Vayk" - "Vorotan-1"  220 kV and about 50 km long "Lalvar" and "Noyemberyan" 110 kV air line.

The program is implemented within the framework of the 39 million dollars agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The goal of the project is to improve the reliability, capacity and reduce power losses.

Head of the Department of Credit and Grant Projects of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Armenia Vardan Martirosyan said that construction of "Noraduz", "Lichk" and "Vorotan-1" air lines has been completed and put into force. Construction of "Vardenis" and "Vayk" airlines is underway, which is to be completed by the end of the year.

Reconstruction of the "Lalvar" and "Noyemberyan" 110 kV air lines is in process.
Reconstruction works are preparation, construction works are expected to be completed in 2018.
