Information - Electricity Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States
The CIS Electricity Council was established in 1992 by the Agreement on coordination of interstate relations in the field of electric power between the CIS Countries.
The CIS Electricity Council has its seat in Moscow.
The Republic of Armenia is a member of CIS Executive Committee since 1992.
The CIS Electricity Council aims to joint and coordinated actions in the field of energy of CIS Countries, energy systems parallel work, as well as stable and reliable electricity supply in CIS Countries.
The CIS Executive Committee is headed by the Chairman of the Council, and the Council Executive Committee coordinates the ongoing actions.
