The Investment Opportunities In The Energy Sector Discussed

On 21 Ashot Manukyan, the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources met with the representatives of Italian "Renco" and Japanese "Marubeni" Groups. The meeting was attended by Giovanni Rubini, the CEO of "Renco" Group, Makoto Iwasaki, the Project Manager of London Office of the Japanese "Marubeni" Group and Dominique Shanyol, Vice President for Development of Marubeni Europower Group.

Speaking of the new thermal power plant construction project, the Minister once again stressed the importance of its role in Armenia's energy sector. The sides touched upon the issues related to the construction of the plant.

During the meeting the investment possibilities in the energy sector of Armenia being implemented by Marubeni Japanese Company have been discussed and specific investment projects have been reviewed.
