The Results of the First Stage of the ANPP Unit 2 Lifetime Extension Program Summed Up and the Future Activities Specified

On December 7-8 the delegation of the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources headed by the Minister Ashot Manukyan, met with Alexey Likhachev, "Rosatom” Chief Executive Officer, Kiril Komarov, “Rosatom” First Deputy CEO and the leadership of "Rusatomservice" company during their working visit to Moscow. A number of issues related to Armenian-Russian cooperation in the field of atomic energy have been discussed.

The sides touched upon the process of implementation of the ANPP Unit 2 Lifetime Extension Program. The results of the first stage have been summed up and the tasks and schedule for 2017 have been clarified.

At the meetings, an agreement on volume and periods of future activities to be implemented in 2018-2019 was reached within the framework of the implementation of the ANPP  Unit 2 project.
