Armenian-Chinese Cooperation in Energy Sector

On November 16, Ashot Manukyan, the Minister of Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources met with H.E. Mr. Tian Erlong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to the Republic of Armenia. A wide range of issues regarding the Armenian-Chinese cooperation in energy sector has been discussed.

Welcoming the Ambassador Minister Manukyan noted that Armenian-Chinese relations expanding more and more recently.

‘’There is a great potential between the two countries for the implementation of the cooperation projects in various fields’’.

Congratulating Minister Manukyan on his appointment, the Ambassador Tian Erlong also underlined existing serious potential for expanding the Armenian-Chinese cooperation. The sides discussed the opportunities of expanding the cooperation.

At the meeting the perspectives of cooperation in the joint mining projects were also discussed.
